Hospitality and retail

Hospitality and retailfit-out that opens on time.

Bars, restaurants, hotels, cafés, shops and showrooms, fitted out with bespoke joinery built for daily trade.

Customers notice the bar, the booth they sit in and the counter they pay at. It all has to be ready by opening day, within budget, and made to survive spilled drinks, busy weekends and constant cleaning.

Who it's for

  • Independent restaurants, cafés and bars
  • Hotels and guesthouses: receptions, lounges, bars and bedrooms
  • Shops, boutiques and showrooms
  • Salons, clinics and leisure venues
  • Brands rolling out across several sites

We design, make and install hospitality and retail interiors with trading in mind. Bars, back-bars, banquettes, counters and display units are made in our Downpatrick workshop, so we control the quality and the timing, and we can phase installation around your opening or trading hours.

  • Design and full fit-out

  • Shopfitting
  • Overnight and phased work
  • Multi-site roll-outs

Materials chosen for heavy use

A bar top has to cope with spills, a banquette with thousands of covers a year, and a shop counter with constant contact. We specify materials and finishes for commercial use and build in practical details such as removable panels for cleaning and access to services.

  • Commercial-grade laminates, veneers and solid surfaces
  • Fire-rated boards and finishes where required
  • Hard-wearing commercial upholstery

From plans to opening night

  1. Brief and site visit

We look at the space, your plans, your opening date and your budget.

  2. Design

Layouts, joinery and finishes, designed around service flow and how customers move.

  3. Manufacture

Bars, seating and counters are made in our workshop while the site is prepared, which shortens time on site.

  4. Installation

Phased around your trading hours where needed, with the site left clean and safe each day.

  5. Opening and aftercare

We snag before opening and come back to adjust anything once the venue is trading.

More about how we work

Hospitality and retail questions

Can you work to a fixed opening date?

Yes. Hospitality and retail projects are planned backwards from the opening date. Because our joinery is made in our own workshop, we can manufacture bars, counters and seating while the site is being prepared, which shortens the time on site.

Do you fit out hotels and bars as well as shops?

We work across hospitality and retail: hotels, restaurants, bars, cafés, shops, showrooms and salons. The common thread is joinery and finishes that look good on day one and stand up to heavy daily use.

Can you roll out a design across several sites?

Yes. Once a design is agreed, we can produce consistent joinery packages for multiple sites across Northern Ireland and Ireland, with each one installed to the same standard.

Do you use fire-rated and commercial-grade materials?

We specify materials suited to commercial use, including fire-rated boards and finishes where required by building control, hard-wearing laminates and commercial upholstery fabrics. Certification details available on request.

Can you work overnight or while we are trading?

Where a venue needs to keep trading, we plan work in phases and carry it out overnight or between services, leaving the space clean and safe each morning.
